• Welcome to the Pipe Organ Forum! This is a part of the open community Magle International Music Forums focused on pipe organs (also known as "church organs"), organists, organ music and related topics.

This forum is intended to be a friendly place where technically advanced organists and beginners (or even non-organists) can feel comfortable having discussions and asking questions. We learn by reading and asking questions, and it is hoped that the beginners (or non-organists) will feel free to ask even the simplest questions, and that the more advanced organists will patiently answer these questions. On the other hand, we encourage complex, technical discussions of technique, music, organ-building, etc. The opinions and observations of a diverse group of people from around the world should prove to be interesting and stimulating to all of us.

As pipe organ discussions can sometimes become lively, it should be pointed out that this is an open forum. Statements made here are the opinion of the poster, and not necessarily that of the forum itself, its administrator, or its moderators.

In order to post a new topic - or reply to existing ones - you may join and become a member by clicking on Register New User. It's completely free and only requires a working email address (in order to confirm your registration - it will never be given away!). We strive to make this a friendly and informative forum for anyone interested in pipe organs and organ music.

(Note: If you wish to link to and promote your own website please read this thread first.)

    Many kind regards

Hi, I am a new user to the forum and in hopes that I can find information for purchasing new or used bass pedals, the long ones. (Two of mine broke). I'm sure there must be someone somewhere with some used parts or new. If you can help me find these parts, I will be ever grateful.

Curtis

Hi Curtis,

Welcome to the forum :).

Although I have no information to pass along, there was a similar query for 'parts' in another thread last year. The reply can be found here as it lists a persons name for contacting. At least it could be a step in the right direction.

Do keep us informed of any progress you have in your search. It would be of great interest to others here for future times.

I have your pedals! I sent you an E-mail yesterday. Did you get it? If anyone needs Technic organ parts, I have a bunch of used ones, and I can help diagnose and fix your problems. Send an E-mail to [email protected]. 920-237-1450. Ask for Joe.

Seems that Curtis just came and asked and then left without a trace...... closing one year after his post.... tsk tsk tsk
What happened ? did he find the damn pedals ?
Apparently he didn't contact JoeS.... :-D

Since he asked here for help he at least should post a second and say "OK guys I'm OK, Thanks !" :-/

I checked on this and can confirm that "Curtis" hasn't logged in on this site since Sept 1, 2011. However, anyone can "view" the forum without having to register ... most all of the forum is visible to anyone [except certain forum areas that are for members only]. Curtis may have viewed the page since then, but we have no way of checking "who" or "what" visits the site, unless they are registered users and actually log in.

I could literally list thousands of member names who haven't visited since making an initial posting ... they remain on our "active members" lists ad-infinitum.

All said and done, sure wish we knew the outcome, if any, from the original request.

Hi Lars,
This is the way it is, yes :-D
Curtis probably was on a desperate situation and must posted everywhere and most probably he found a solution and not bothered to answer to all forums visited (and registered first of course)... hehehe
This is internet LoL
