Well, this thread has become a veritable duck-dam. But hey, we at least get to ruffle our feathers in a fun sort of way. Then there's the best motorcycle made - and it is affectionately named the "Duck" i.e. Ducati. They out-handle another motorcycle made, and thats right out of the crate-box........The top of the line model has as many horsepower as it weighs in kilo i.e. 200 kilos = 200 horsepower.......

A good link Mike, Black Shadow ??? way beyond my pay packet, and the XK120 always wanted one and eventually got a XK150 DHC which was fast but a pig to drive so had to go, but I have had a life long love of sport cars and even have one at the moment but a more modern one
    I don’t want a signature any more

I have stopped riding bikes. I came to realise that I no longer bounce very well and as modern bikes no longer have crash bar fittings a spill tends to be expensive. But thanks for the memories.

What a sweet ride Br. Colin - Don't you still ride an iron? I would gladly hop on in to the nearest "duck" dealer and ride away with the 999R if but for my family........I wanna be around for my wife and beloved children.............

    Well I have a $50 note. Could I have please have a $20, two $10s and two $5s?

Isn't "Wanganui" a wonderful word? It's one of those "on the edge" type words, you know, the sort to elicit a chuckle from a Yr 7 class (like "Wankel Rotary Engine").
