Commodore de Cavaille-Coll
Here is an article you can link to about Mozart's music - certainly furrowed my brow:
Commodore of Water Music
Yeah, there are some interesting points in there, preganant woman should listen to Mozart, I mean, why mozart, and not Beethoven or Bach or something??? And I think they might be going overboard there.
Well... not really surprising to me... it's much the same line of thoughts connected with last years obsession of the Danish write and poet H.C. Andersen - his 200th birthday/year was celebrated here in Denmark during 2005, a flop of gigantic proportions.
To Gareth: regarding pregnant women and mozart - as the article states: "Mozart is the superstore wallpaper of classical music, the composer who pleases most and offends least. Lively, melodic, dissonance free: what's not to like? The music is not just charming, it's full of good vibes." - I wouldn't characterize neither Bach nor Beethoven as equally "charming" myself, but then again tast differs.
