Question?
Hey folks, I was wondering if any of you know any good (non-studio based, such as Nuendo/Cubase/Sonar because I already got them) program to write music sheet. I downloaded Mozart 2005 but it doesnt seems to have a "export to pdf" option and it makes poor quality and resolution images. So if anyone can answer me it would be nice.
Thanks

Re: Question?
Yep, try Finale Notepad 2006, you will have to register, which is free, and a free dowload, just type it up in google. I found it to be a great notation software, it doesn't have an export to pdf I don't think, but you can print it straight off the program if thats what you were looking for.

Re: Question?
I don't know of any sheet music applications (save the expensive ones) that allow you to save files in PDF format, but there is a program called PDF 995 that will allow you to create PDF files from most applications. It is free for the download. All you have to do is press the print command in your application and choose PDF995 as your printer and you have a PDF file!
