    It's a pity that she wasn't recorded that much. But her Donna Elvira and Octavian were legendary.

    I once had this one in me hands to buy it for a budget price, but I picked something else (probably Bach).



    I do have a Kleiber DVD, though not the FILM with Jurinac (which is with Von Karajan btw), but a live performance with Brigitte Fassbaender as Octavian. And, main reason for purchasing, Lucia Popp as Marschallin.

    Lucia Popp, long gone (1993), at the age of 53 .... I won't announce that on this board.

    I'd better go to sleep with some beautiful music.

    At least there a few remembrances of her art. she had a long life and hopefully much joy in it. It seems that some of the greatest were not often invited to record much, while others, Well.
