    The Mighty Lanquetuit Toccata

This Toccata was virtually unknown for many years- but then, so was Vivaldi's The Four Seasons! Now becoming popular amongst listeners and organists good enough to be able to play it, here is an EXCLUSIVE performance from Siegfried Franke at St. Paul's Cathedral in Melbourne

Marcel Lanquetuit is a new composer to me and his dazzling Toccata is sheer delight. Magnificently played on a terrific sounding instrument in a beautiful church surrounding. Apparently all that gold does not weigh down Siegfried Franke's fingers. Thank Bill for finding another winner. I notice there other videos by him. I look forward to hearing the later. He is just great.
