That was just great Mike. I have a set of Purcell's choral works directed by Simon Preston. I have not listened to it for a while, will have to get busy.
Music for the funeral of Queen Mary, all 21 minutes of it!
One of Purcell's great masterpieces. A great favorite of mine. So very well done!

Magnificat and Nunc Dimmitus from evening service in G minor, (the gloria to the Nunc Dimmitus is by Thomas Roseingrave)
Finally took time to listen to "Music for Queen Mary's funeral".. very majestic sounding and ,love his cordial progressions and harmonies anyway.
