Rimsky-Korsakov Concerto for Trombone and Military Band

I heard this on the radio the other day for the first time and liked it well enough to pass it on.

It is played by The Сentral Navy Band of Russia, conductor Alexey Karabanov with Trombone Soloist Alexander Demidenko

This is even better than the recording I heard.

Thanx for posting this work, rob. As you might well know Rimsky-Korsakov was the Chief Inspector of Military Bands. I thoroughly enjoy this work and am always amazed by how he "treats" different ensembles and soloists.

Very enjoyable... 2nd movement has a beautiful melodic line in the beginning. Thanks for posting.
