    Garden of Love's Sleep...

This is some of the hottest, stickiest, post-orgasmic stuff for Symphony Orchestra plus piano and Ondes Martenot:

Yes, yes, mmmm, I'm still rolling over this morning.
I woke up early, and last night's snow is melting, so I walked here without a hat,
and I still feel dreamy and a little sleepy.
I was looking to continue my new thread, but saw this one first, and listened all the way through,
    not that it's over.

I could go on about some Schoenberg, Eric Satie, seeing expressionistic Monet lilies in a pond,
but what was that keyboard with the player using a ring with strings on her finger?

Thanks for the info, Citizen Dolce.
It looked like an older instrument, and I could only think some kind of theramin.
If you take a glass or metal slide, whatever works on your acoustic guitar strings,
you can rub it sideways very quickly back and forth on the fifth or seventh frets
to get harmonics happening you might be able to move up and down the neck.
It sounds almost like this, just being all the strings, not a note you can move up and down.
Very interesting, seeing an electric instrument with a symphony orchestra.
    I didn't see a wah-wah pedal.

It wasn't haunting for me, maybe being too used to post-orgasmic experiences.
There was an unsettled quality about it, possibly leading to a refrain, or slight return.
I even thought one section described difficulty with a used.... nah, this domain is classy.

Maybe this music is haunting me now. I thought I heard that Ondes Martenot this morning,
while I was walking downtown. It sounded metallic, some long sounds, with a crinkling sound.
I had to find the source, and it turned out to be some aluminum siding installers,
    pulling out some old eavestroughs.
Yes, that's right, here in the Niagara Peninsula, guys doing roofing.
It's warm, what snow piles there are left are melting, no wind, and a sunny day, end o'February.
    That's a little haunting too.
