Ah, proper cars. We have the Bucket and Spade run down her, which encompasses veteran, vintage and interesting cars, including kit cars. My friend has an MG TF replica. Lots of fun and proper brakes.

Interesting car the Model T and certainly an important part of motoring history in America, but I am told the belt drive system they used was an absolute mongrel.

My first car was a '53 MGTD, purchased in 1972, about 30 mpg.

The Model T did establish a template for American manufacturing,
when Henry Ford hired criminal thugs to beat striking employees, killing five.
He wanted to give every American a free tractor, to establish a monopoly,
saying he'd make more long term cash with parts.
