    Organ/orgel Grand_Organ_of_St Paul's Cathedral,London demo

A very informative video with history of various installations of the organ with many demos of the various organs and registers. kinda long but worth it for me.

Can we make the Harry Potter theme the go-to piece for getting a feel for the Swell division?

Very informative video. I've never been outside the US, although I plan to pass through London on vacation this winter. This was a very nice look at the instrument and it's history. One thing that especially stood out to me is how tall that console is. He had to reach pretty far up to pull the Tuba stop around 8:00!

Do take the time to visit ... and attend Evensong in the late afternoon. If you get there early, there's a chance you will get to sit in the quire area.
It was a very thrilling experience ... and the organist did open 'er up during that service too ... I get chills thinking about it, and I was there two summers ago.

A wonderful video ... I wasn't aware that there was a nave floor console ... I only knew of the [hidden] gallery one.

When I was there two summers back, there was no evidence of a Nave floor console ... possibly it's kept in a side room?

I know that Liverpool Cathedral has two consoles ... the Nave floor console is usually locked up (encased in closed glass panels).
