New Jazz Recordings and some Questions

Here are some new tracks, one in the vein of Allan Holdsworth and the other in the vein of Kind Blue meets Hymn to the Seventh Galaxy.

New Tracks you're gonna love if you like Allan Holdsworth and Kinda Blue.

I also had some questions about how to evolve non third chords from intervallic harmony ala William Russo's book Jazz Composition and Orchestration.

How do you keyboardists approach moving the inner voices of chords?

Also, what do you reach for when you want unusual passing chords?

    Thanks,

Tatsu! I'm going to start where I start, and that's with the English.

You're typing "New Tracks you're gonna love if you like Allan Holdsworth and Kinda Blue".
That's not right. If you only like Allan Holdsworth and Kinda Blue, how can you love stylized copies?
That's what you're saying and asking.

If I want to reach for, for me, unusual passing chords, I still reach for "Electric Ladyland", by Jimi Hendrix.
I'm still not sure what I'm listening to, still just getting off on it after all these decades.

When you type "Kind Blue", are you referring to "Kind of Blue", by Miles Davis?

I'm still trying to find my voice as a composer and in order to do that I need to keep composing so thats why the posts keep coming. If you have any constructive criticism you'd like to give with your valuable time, go ahead. I hear you saying you'd like to hear music that is less like a stylized copy. Of course, Kind Of Blue by Davis. The only posts you'll ever get by me are midi realizations of my compositions. If that's not something you'd like to hear, then you're free to stop listening to them at any time. It's not going to change any time soon.
