Where did Franz or Algernon ever suggest that "no classical music of worth was created after the nineteenth century"? On the contrary, Franz names Stravinsky and Shostakovich as outstanding composers of the chaotic age (1900-present). What exactly are you in disagreement about?

Australia's had a few fine lady composers. One current one who is very popular and very gifted is Elena Kats-Chernin who was born in 1957 in the Uzbekistan capital of Tashkent, but moved to Sydney from the Soviet Union a while ago.
