    Have a guess

No prizes I'm afraid. Maybe some clues in a day or so.

Composer? Name of the work? Originally written for? Which century?

    6-23.mp3

I also have .wav, MIDI and Finalé files if anybody likes it enough!
    Cheers MIKE.

Would probably sound better if I changed a few stops.

Does Madrigals for 5 voices help?
    Cheers MIKE.

OK so this is how it sounds in original vocal form

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13GFBJdWD7o.

I did try singing some of his works at a weekend study session (way back when I could still manage counter tenor), not the easiest of works to wrap the tonsils round.

I will be "arranging" a few more of these over the next few weeks, must try and improve the registration, maybe try some different instrumentation, flutes, recorders, and/or oboe over a Harpsichord? Don't think brass would suit though.
    Cheers MIKE.

That is probably one of his "milder" works, the harmonies and progressions he often used made life choral really interesting.
    Cheers MIKE.
