    hello people

    Just found this forum while searching using google.
    I was looking for something about Indian rhythm - the tihai, and I just bumped into all of you!

    my interest is, at the moment, the fusion of jazz and classical, third stream,with more of a jazz leaning.
    I have been listening to Gil Evans, and Bill Evans/Palle Mikkelborg 'Symbiosis' and have heard extracts from the Getz/Sauter 'Focus',although I don't own a copy.
    Would like to know a little about Claude Thornhill
    Don't have a great deal of time to read/listen but if anyone has the odd plum they wish to share that would be great.
