    Hi Povster

Some nice looking instruments there, espcially the Rudra Veena.

I love it, but I've never been able to play it (maybe with a single voice instrument I might have better luck).

Since my last post, the Double Bass has gone back to school, but I have acquired a Rotary Valved Flueglehorn, and a wonderful 1969 Selmer Paris Piccolo Trumpet :-)

I've got a piano "Ukraina", a handmade electronic drum set , Zildjian ZHT cymbal set, and TAMA Iron Cobra pedal.
And there's much more stuff in my dreams!!!

Mostly Classical stuff in the school's String Orchestra (when I wasn't playing piano for them), though I dabbled in Jazz Bass for a while (then gave up on Upright Bass and went back to trumpet and other various instruments, though I still occasionally play a little bass (small amount of bass, not a small bass))

People don't realise how much pain you go through when learning bass particularly pizzicato in jazz, even the left hand fingers go through hell until you get hardened

You can pick up a classical with imperfections to the finish for about £30.00. I learned to play on one and still have it. Nothing wrong with it, just does not sound so subtle as a solid top, but better than nothing.

Picked up a ridiculously cheap Selmer 1401 Bb Clarinet yesterday - my first "serious" foray into woodwind instruments (I've played very small amounts of bass clarinet and descant recorder previously)
