Not surprising comrade, do you remember when all ICE leaked oil, I remember when the Skoda first came to NZ and the half shafts leaked oil the reply given to customers was "If it is no more than a 50c coin (about 30mm) dia each side over night it is permissible and no action will be taken. wouldn't get away with that to day eh :)

But today's Skodas have a quality on par with that of Toyota...Go figure...Not that I'd buy one...Just saying...

The air intake grills on the rear guards (Sabre) were assembled with metal tabs that had missed the painting process hence rust appeared after a few weeks we were told to wipe of and spray with "Fisholene" at every service. I suggested we could use the oil that leaked from the half shafts but that did not go down at all well. :crazy:
