I find it hard to believe it is only two days away from June and we are STILL lighting fires. Worst Spring I can remember and that includes the year we had snow in May.

Its bright and sunny again today but there is that cold edge underneath the sunshine. Although we sat in the garden yesterday it certainly was not hot, and the evenings are too cold to sit out without a coat and scarf.

We totally bypassed Spring ... went from the last season of Summer straight into this new season of Summer. We have two seasons here: summer and summer.

107°F here on Saturday ... We made it all through May without hitting the century mark, and then Jun 1st, whammo.

We have heat to spare ... and way too much stupid sunshine ...

Please please send some over here. We have had two bad Winters and a bad Summer in a row and at this rate we will be into Winter again soon.

Fair enough ... we can do a 'weather exchange' via Skype perhaps ...

Well, the grass is cut, the beans are in and the front hedges trimmed. All between the showers. Local air show next week so hopefully we can sit in the garden and watch it for free. Will it be barbeque's or umbrellas? Who knows.

Well it's beginning to look summery in the garden even if the weather hasn't yet caught up

Now that's a very Flori bunda.

Lots more also in bloom or big buds. Wonder when we'll get smelly net. We can tell the hayfever sufferers, they walk on the other side of the road! (dunno why this last one isn't in line with the others!)

Lovely display Mike. We have a couple or rose bushes but our garden is too wild for that sort of of thing at the moment.
