    Question Which Microphone Preamp for Rob Halford sound?

    I know this is hard to do, but what is a good microphone preamp (cheap budget model) for singing rob halford/Judas Priest music.

    I'm new to singing, and I'm not in a band (yet anyway), so I want to keep it in the $100 range. Obviously low budget to be trying to sound like Halford. So I just want to know what other people have used and recomend.

    what microphone would be an extremely important first question on equal par with hearing an example of your voice.. is it mid frequency rich or ??? Can't give an advice on your question without knowing those things... just throwing names out without this info would be like stating that sports car is the best for you without taking into account that you need to transport a grand piano around everywhere you go...
