Ambassador - Amazing New Fusion Group

Difficult not to express my personal bias with this band as I am a member. Please, give these songs a listen. Constructive criticism welcome and appreciated. We are based out of Washington D.C. We've been together for 4 weeks or so and it's just been exponentially explosive.

Our influences are so diverse from member to member. Drummer is influenced almost entirely by the jazz/funk/fusion genres. Listening to him is a clinic in Dave Garibaldi funk rhythms and Dennis Chambers style. His main influences are Dave Garibaldi, Dennis Chambers, and Tony Williams.

I am the piano player, my influence all comes from studying classical and jazz piano. I am a fan of Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Duke Ellington, Stan Kenton, and I also love completely different kinds of music, like Tool, A Perfect Circle, Incubus, Chili Peppers, Umphrey's Mcgee, Jamie Cullum, Smashing Pumpkins etc....

The guitar player and bass player, are in love with Phish. Phish is the primary influence, and the guitar wrote the three songs you will find on those links. They also like a lot of other great music.

Bottom line, took my 5 months for me and my drummer to find top quality musicians, and we did, and now I want people to hear us.

    Thanks for listening

    Thumbs up

Out of the 3 links, I was only able to listen to Genesis on your homepage....
The middle link needs some sort of ".com" or whatever- I couldnt be bothered to experiment with it myself I'm afraid... CBA....
and I was unable to listen to any of the music on the first link

...However, from what I hear with "Genesis", I really enjoyed listening to it- some good stuff going on there
