That's very strange, I have never seen that problem before. How often does it happen? And does the page stay like that (and require reload) or eventually load correctly?
Hi Frederik,
no, the page will load correctly after one second. At the moment there isnīt that problem but Iīve never seen this before aswell. It looked like the basis of a side. Iīll let you now and will aswell ask a friend. Maybe itīs a mistake of my own browser?
Torsten
Hi Frederik,
the following text was shown when I wanted to open the forum page:

Sreenshot attached.
I donīt have this problem with any other site.
Strange, isnīt it.
Greetings from here,
Torsten
Now I get at least one idea. The poblems just come up after changing parameters in the Edit Profile Menue or in the User Control Panel. I than have to delete the browser cache to make your site work propper again. There are no such problems with every other site I open with my browser.
By the way, Iīm using a Mac and Safari.
T.
I'm aware of this last error and have fixed it. It seems to be caused by a hack related to the upcoming image gallery. The "hack" (not the gallery) has now been disabled and the author notified.
Btw, good choice! I'm also using a Mac (and both Safari and Firefox), though I of ocurse also test everything on Windows with Explorer.
Hi Frederik,
that was it. Everything is fine now here.
With this little things I can even more imagine what you do for this forum altogether. Thank you again.
All the best,
Torsten
Hi Frederik,
sorry, itīs me again.
Second problem since your last message dissolved but there is the first problem again. Somethings going wrong here since yesterday. I really have no idea what it could be. Sometimes, shortly before the magle site loads, I suspect something like html code or so. Very strange. And as I said, there isnīt such a problem with any other site Iīm visiting. So I think it will not be a problem of my browser.
Sorry,
Torsten
I'm sorry that the first problem persists. It's very hard for me to fix since you seem to be the only one experiencing it (that makes it much harder to track down so if anyone is experiencing the same please step forward), and since I'm actually using the same configuration without problems (Mac OS X 10.4.6 and Safari 2.0.3?). Could you possibly try Firefox and see if you get the same problem?
I will be looking further into this. Anyhow, for now - besides trying a different browser (Firefox), I can only recommend trying to empty the browser cache and clear the cookies. Then immediately after doing that close and reopen the browser.
I hope we can get to the bottom of this problem.
Kind regards,
Frederik
Update! Interestingly, I just experienced the same (in Safari) but it only lasted for a fraction of a second (maybe 1/3 or 1/4) before the page loaded correctly - this may also be dependant on your connection speed, and/or maybe the server has been slow for a moment... My guess is that the wait is caused by the browser waiting to load the css file. But the problem only seems to occur in Safari.
Within a month or so this site will be moved to a dedicated server, which will make everything lightening fast. Hopefully this problem will disappear as well then...
Hi Frederik,
yes, I know, if you delete the browser cache the site works fine until I change parameters in the Edit Profil Menu or change any parameters in the User Contol Panel. I also can see, that there was no problem before the new Gallerie Forum was installed. Maybe it has something to do with that? You are right when you say that the problem just appears with the Safari Browser. I tried it with Firefox and the site loaded correctly. So is it a problem with Safari?
All the best,
Torsten
