    Trumpet Voluntary in D

    Hello
I have been commissioned this morning to compose a trumpet melody to offer to a Bishop. So my sunday has been very busy.
Do you want to hear the result ?

    Friendly yours. Jean-Paul

Overall very good work. My only comment is that it's too funeral march. Bump up the tempo just a bit to make it a true trumpet voluntary.

That brightened the start to my day Jean-Paul. The main melody is very catchy.

The tempo is fine. The piece as played has both a simplicity and gravitas that lend dignity to a liturgy celebrated in the presence of a bishop.

Nice to see you and the video. Another good job.. at a slower majestic tempo would be a good processional for a wedding party also. IMHO.
