Fixed the title for you, Bill :)

I just saw this for the first time and listened.
The as-yet-untitled Frederik Magle did not disappoint.
The actual video doesn't detract from the music, only enhancing his image.
When his left hand reached towards the bottom end, towards the camera,
but didn't hit any notes, that was very entertaining.
That made me think he was going to reach for the other piano at the same time.
If I didn't see his fingers I wouldn't have been able to appreciate all the notes right away.
When you can hear and watch a master, a genius, and feel like audience as a forum member,
it makes this computer use worthwhile in every truly blessed musical way.
How can this look so casual, so unwritten, how can these fingers be so expressive,
when I can hear all the weight of classical tradition with the duality of new personal imagination,
a story I can hardly bear to hear, and one I know I can never tell.
It's a good thing this was in black and white, helping me to focus, helping me to concentrate.

As my mother would say, I was at my wit's end, yesterday, and to overcome that,
I pushed the boundaries of my own existence all through today, an incredible day, everything coming my way,
a blessed life of humanity and nature, the quick and the dead, transmogrified.
I did not anticipate such a dramatic and perfect ending, the most beautiful musical attainment.

I'm just commenting again because this is the thread I came to see,
    more than any other.
    Beautiful, just beautiful!
I didn't need my inspiration to be a Magle.dk member refreshed,
and this isn't any kind of refreshment.
It's a big challenge to get as much across, or out there, this desperate and serene output.
Sadly enough, for my inventive electric guitar self, it makes me want to play piano more.

Indeed, these are absolutely wonderful. I had the pleasure to hear some of these improvisation "live" when we were visiting the Magle's in the summer of 2010.

You know Krummhorn, if I was sitting there I know I'd be enchanted.
And moving from enchantment to wonderment, and I wonder, and I wonder why,
when those tones finally faded away into the air, I'm not sure how I'd feel,
other than sad they were gone.
There are some music functions there are no stops for, but you know that.

Indeed it is. Frederik is also a very accomplished organist. See his Bio page for more information.
