Getting chilly here.

Temperature here seems to have dropped considerably, I've just turned the central heating on.

Met office claims 10pm @ 14C with "feels like" 12C and dropping. I'm sat here with a wool cardy but still close to shivering, just hope the radiators don't take too long to warm up.

Anybody else feeling less than cosy?

Been cool here for a few days. Sunny today but much cooler now. The last couple of evenings I would have lit the fire, but the Winter coal has not been delivered yet.

Still in the 90's (F), but overcast. Our Monsoon Season has been torrential this summer - lots of flooding, and trees being uprooted, and lots of car wrecks. My son loves car wrecks as he works in collision repair, so it's his bread and butter - the more crashes, the more he earns.

We won't need the house furnace until mid November - we racked up a huge power bill for last month with the extreme number of hot days.

Always think of Arizona as being hot and arid; hadn't realised you had a Monsoon Season.

Here already it feels like autumn, decidedly cool, with too much rain!

It is, mostly hot and arid, but we get most of our annual rainfall in the Summer months of July, August and September, some 9 to 11 inches of rain per season. In the later afternoon while it's about 109°(f), the clouds move in, a mighty thunderstorm complete with deadly lightening and torrential rains - the outside temperature drops suddenly to 72°(f), and then two hours later, the clouds clear and the temp goes right back up to 109°(f) at which point we are actually drier in the shower with the water running than it is outside with all that humidity.
