What would be the easiest/cheapest make or model to build GO into? I've been looking on Gumtree and there seem to be quite a few at prices between about £20 and £200 which I could afford.
My thoughts would be to find one with MIDI connection(s) which might not need so much in the way of parts; I have a spare Dual core Pentium PC, which I used to run GO2 on, which could either go in "case and all" or as motherboard and PSU.
Can GO be adapted to run with no keyboard or monitor? or might it be better to build in a laptop/notebook rather than a desktop or tower. If a K/B and monitor are used then changing sample sets would be as normal, but could that be achieved by other means, example load from USB sticks?
The only item which would need to be sourced separately would be a full pedal board.
Alternatively some of the more recent ones (1990s onwards?) use samples, could they be replaced/reloaded with other sample sets (USB stick or ROMs??
Wishful thinking or a possibility?
