Muso1070, or Chris Keys, the name of the artist and band, oh, watch out,
you've got me a little worried here already, seeing you as being too anxious about what others think.
This is an international forum, so others could have nothing in common with your culture and music.
I know my comments might not be what you want to hear, but here we go.

Thinking having a chick, a Beetle and a Marconiphone got me thinking Austin Powers Carnaby Street right away,
but that's not what I started seeing, not even sure what I was seeing.
Gretch drums are my favorites, but is your drummer wearing a wig as part of a video theme?
Chris Keys, or the lead singer, could be wearing a wig or just having sloppy, alternative rock hair,
I'm not sure, but it's not Carnaby Street.
My last two business vans were 70's Volkswagens, and your video set me up for a retro Beetle,
but yours has flashy modern rims and is updated all the way.
However, it was interesting to see the car going down the road through all your wonderful landscapes,
really nice. Playing out the video by going down the road with the car more would have been nicer for me,
instead of throwing in shots of the band onstage that looked the same.
I'm hearing, and seeing, the band as coming from an oldie, folkie, not bluegrassy, place,
and think you've used modern updates to lift the band up in video status, okay to try, videos are videos.
I see using generic elements such as a car, the record player, and I didn't see a chick, just a stage singer,
as losing local flavour, and that's important in the new millennium.
There's so much global content out there you have to be more local to have some originality,
unless you are an American and have to find some culture and intellectual qualities offshore.
The Dan Electro guitarist is nice, but a little more of a pickin'thang would have rounded out the tune.
Wondering about if anyone was using a wig, it doesn't look like anyone used makeup for the video.

This is not a music review, more of a video commentary based on a chick, a beetle and a Marconiphone.
Overall, it was worth watching and listening, and it left me wanting to be going down that road myself.
Now I'm thinking the stage should have been a pub setting, maybe the car stopping in with friends to party,
or the band in the car, stopping to have an acoustic picnic.
Or, to get rock'n'roll with it, the Volkswagen could go flying off the road and start floating across the lake,
the chick in a bikini lying on the hood, allowing Chris Keys to relax and smile like he's enjoying himself.
Nice bass guitar.

:)) Loved your video commentary.
Lots of great ideas towards the end too.
Yes indeed every single person is wearing a wig as it couldn't be done other wise.
No ones hair was 70s style and hi quality wigs are very pricey.
With that said i thought the wigs did the job grand ;-)

Cheers
