Brahms : Piano Quintet in f minor - a historic recording from the National Gallery in London - played by Dame Myra Hess and the Griller String Quartet.
Also, piano music by Brahms : Ballade No. 1 in d minor and Intermezzo in E Flat major, Op. 117 No. 1 both played by Martin Jones.

Well, not today, but the other night there was some sort of biographical show about Karajan on PBS, and I caught some of it. The excerpts were exceptionally excellent. (How's that for some heavy alliteration.) Then later that day, there was another, different show, again about Karajan. Did I miss something? Was it his birthday recently, or.. ? I should look it up, but I'm feeling particularly lazy atm.
''Music, I feel, should be emotional first and intellectual second.'' - Maurice Ravel

Herbert von Karajan (5 April 1908 – 16 July 1989), not his birthday Rojo, so I don't think you missed anything.
