Hi Guys,
i love classic music and listen classic music
I listen to it from time to time
classical music is perfectly fine while doing homework/studying…my friend did a science fair experiment on that and it showed that classical music helps.
I have the impression that more and more except in upper class families people and their children don't seem to appreciate classical music. That's a pity I think.

Complete Symphonies of Brahms.
Jean Sibelius - 1st, 2nd and 3rd symphony, Finlandia, Six Humoresques for Violin and Orchestra
Currently listening to:
Howard Hanson: Symphonies (Seattle SO/Gerard Schwarz)
Paul Ben-Haim: Violin Concerto (Itzhaak Perlman, violin; Israel PO/Zubin Mehta)
Vaughan Williams: Oboe Concerto (Maurice Bourgue, oboe; English String Orchestra/William Boughton)
"Execution of Stepan Razin" by Shostakovich.
Looking for some more Olde Englishe organs to post, in so doing found another John Stanley Op 2 Concerto; minor problem NPOR say it's Op2 No 1, whereas my CD has it as Op2 No 4, who to believe? As the CD has all 6 concertos of Op 2 on it I tend to take their word.
Cheers MIKE.
How many roads must a man walk down ... ... before he admits he's lost?
Actually, I performed this morning with a choral group various pieces by Rachmaninoff, Chesnokoff, Lvov, and Turchaninoff at the Patriarchal Cathedral in Moscow.
And in attendance was the Patriarch of all Russia and various Metropolitans plus a Cardinal from Rome - And lots of people - about 5000 altogether.............
That's a big audience, Corno. Hope you did well.
I listened to Schoenberg's 5 Pieces for Orchestra.
Mozart's clarinet concerto, just recently got this from Amazon.
Earlier was Mozart Organworks from Passau Cathedral.
