Some reflective music for a quiet evening...
- Carol Rosenberger / Bösendorfer Imperial Grand Piano (the low "C" shakes the whole room
)
Leopold Stokowski / New Philharmonia Orchestra

*If a man wants God to hear his prayer quickly, then before he prays for anything else, even his own soul, when he stands and stretches out his hands towards God, he must pray with all his heart for his enemies. Through this action God will hear everything that he asks* -Abba Zeno-

Beethoven: The Late String Quartets this Music sounds good.
Rachmaninoff's Sonata for Cello and Piano played by Vladimir Ashkenazy and Lynn Harrell.
Mozart, collection of masterpieces
Aloha Muza,
That explanation is as clear as mud
I listened to Vladimir Ashkenazy play the complete *Moments Musicaux* by Rachmaninoff.
Cheerio,
CD![]()
Robert Simpson--5th Symphony
Brahms' Capriccio op. 116
and check this out, Corno, I was listening to Rachmaninoff's Moments Musicaux as well - great minds think alike, i say. But I was listening to my cousin's, Ms. Rubinova's, performance of it.
As per my Mozart explanation, lols, yeah I agree. My father made me a bunch of cds with classical music so that I would play them for the baby (Mozart being among them)- I honestly don't even know the names of the pieces on it![]()

Aloha Muza,
Would that be Zlata Rubinova who attended the Moscow Conservatory?
WOW! I am happily amazed that we had both listened to "Rach's Moments" - Yes, you have a virile mind - The music of JSBach and Rachmaninoff, as you probably know, is the music which my wife and I hold dearest to our hearts - Yes, their music surrounds us whilst we *procreate*
Thank you for so patiently sharing that your father had made you a bunch of Cd's for you.
Here's a tip I think might work for you(maybe you know it already) - Pop the Cd into your Cd/DVD driver - If you have itunes on your machine, the database for itunes(I believe its *GraceNote*) will probably discover the names of those pieces on those Cd's.
Cheerio,
CD
Ps: Ooops - almost forgot - Today we listened to Rachmaninoff's complete *Etudes-Tableaux* played by Vladimir Ovchinnikov.

Aloha CD,
Not Zlata Rubinova. Evgenia Rubinova, and she attended Gnesin Academy in Moscow, not that it matters.
Somehow, the iTunes doesn't retract info for those tracks, which is strange, because it was a copy of an official CD, not a self-made compilation. But anyhow, it is possible to find that info online, I just don't want to do it now.
For today - I was just browsing for ideas above and ended up listening to:
Miserere - Grigorio Allegri. Part 1 and 2
Handel - Messiah (selections)
Vivaldi - Gloria (selections)
Mozart - Ave Verum Corpus
