Here's the lyrics for this track for those who like to think about the story etc :-)

    I'll Be Home Lyrics
V1 I've been torn by the rain and snow
my hands filled with cracks so old
every scar is a place and time
a fight on the ocean line
Oh life on the sea .... for me ..... me ....
I rise with the sound of hope
but fear i've still far to go
my mind broken down by the winds
a soul black and blue worn thin
Oh life on the sea .... for me ..... me ....
    But one of these tides..........

    C1 Ill be home.......
No more nights drifting on my own
    Ill be home.......
Living life with my feet on stone
    But on of these tides..........
    Ill be home....... Home.........

V2 I can't see past the waves and fog
my face bruised and beaten so raw
every task is a chore and climb
this war i've been faced is mine
Oh life on the sea .... for me ..... me ....
I wait for my time to come
but now i've got work needs done
those dreams deep within my heart
one day a new place to start
Oh life on the sea .... for me ..... me ....
    But one of these tides..........

    C2 Ill be home.......
No more nights drifting on my own
    Ill be home.......
Living life with my feet on stone
    But one of these tides..........
    Ill be home....... Home.........
    Home........ Home.........

My dad could have been the actor for that fisherman. He fished crab for many years, using long anchored lines with multiple traps. Using a gurdy, he pulled the boat along the line, hoisting traps on board to unload them as he came to them. He later "graduated" to a troller for salmon off the west coast of Vancouver Island on the West Coast of North America, in Canada. Each morning he would motor out the the edge of the shelf, set his lines and troll back and forth to catch Spring Salmon. All this in a 1928 "double ended" fish boat with a 12-14 hp 2 cylinder Easthope engine. A double ender is a boat with a bow shaped stern. They are round bottomed. They are extremely sea worthy, but you have to have a strong stomach in them. The saying is that they keep the deck parallel to the water no matter how steep it is. Others call them "lively" but that is much too polite for the feeling in the stomach when the seas are running.

Hi Albert, great to hear from you and about your Dad.
Myself and the camera man where feeling a little sick a few times from looking at the camera screens so much.
It was tough but well worth it.
Must be hard being out there working for a living.
