I enjoyed the sound of this organ. The upper work blends well with the fundamental sounds making a pleasant sounding ensemble. So many modern American organs have a somewhat screeching sound in which the upper work dominates the ensemble. I formerly attended a church which I nstalled a new neo-baroque organ. The organist started off by using the mixtures for hymns. The congregation stopped singing because they could not pick up the pitch. Later he stopped using the mixtures and the congregation started singing again.
