Now is a good time to track and listen to the COSMIC CONNECTIONS LIVE album by the best-selling modern mantra singer in the world -- Deva Premal, who is joined by her longtime partner Miten plus the Nepal wood flute player Manose and a host of other excellent musicians.

The album is not all mantras and not all live. The first five tunes are mantras in concert, led by Premal. Then there are a pair of folk-pop tunes written and sung in English by Miten, who left a successful rock-and-roll career in England to pursue this world-fusion music. He had two well-received solo albums, one produced by The Kinks and the other by major producer Bones Howe; and before he took off to explore his spiritual side Miten was opening concerts for Fleetwood Mac, Lou Reed, Hall and Oates, and Ry Cooder. The last tune on this new album is a 10-minute studio bonus track, mostly instrumental. So COSMIC CONNECTIONS LIVE has a wide variety of great music on it.

This recording will please both longtime fans (this has some of their best material done live) and newcomers (this serves as a great introduction to these artists).
