    One of my most favorite pieces to use during Lent. Like the tempo that Gert has chosen although I have heard it played almost twice as fast by some.
    I tend to be a bit more legato with the left hand, too. But then I have been playing it in a dead acoustic where the sound stops 3 seconds before taking ones fingers off the keys.

    My new parish has much better acoustics ... 1.5 to 2 seconds ... I am enjoying that immensely.
