New Zealand 60, Canada 1, the final score

I just heard about this tournament, and game,
over-hearing a conversation about a sporting event I'm not sure about.
That's all I've got to say right now, except,
    it doesn't sound very sporting.

Considering the different events being discussed,
one seat over at a Tim Hortons', late at night,
I'd say a women's team from some Olympic event.

My personal score, after five weeks of sleeping outside,
is four ticks and twenty-nine mosquitoes.
Overcast days keep me from feeling hot and sweaty,
but I'm sitting out the rain a lot, raining a few times every day,
    almost every day.
This means I'm reading a lot, a nice way to spend the time.
There are tick infestations around the peninsula and up along Lake Erie,
people saying no mosquitoes allow more ticks.
My family doctor says he lives in a tick infested area, Chippewa,
and one time, after being in the backyard swimming with his family,
    they pulled off seventeen ticks.

ow, ow, okay, no ticks and time ticking away jokes.

I'm in a big social services agency, eight people sitting around,
and I asked about this score and no-one knows anything.
    No tick-talk today.

It looks like scores are being settled up to the stratosphere.
Canadas' Bombardier has been hit with a new 220% duty for product shipped to the disUnited States.
Chances are Canadas' Prime Minister will score a zero, as cancelling the order for 12 American fighter planes.
There's a record heat wave here with dense humidy, people with breathing disorders being hospitalized,
and the waters of Lake Erie being described as warmer than body temperature.

I'm seeing big numbers, constant numbers on screens, a new score, from Las Vegas.
Sad to say it's the continuing number of people who are dying from injuries,
and reporting them, after the mass murder.
In the disUnited States, it takes four or more people being killed all at once,
to qualify as a mass murder.
One report said that as of this time, there have been 64 mass murders this year.

I have to add my own, professional musician, if not entertainer, comments.
It was a country music street festival, and when the shooting began,
the onstage band stopped playing and ran off the stage.
I'm thinking the country star, a Mr. Aldean, should have stopped the band,
informed the crowd, and started pointing out ways to run away.
For sure, he would have been a new American hero,
and he could have played himself in the television special, movie and cable series.
Let the songs and videos begin.

Now I'm seeing two first ladies, Ivana Trump saying she was his first wife,
as a rich businessman, while Melanie is his third, and elected first lady.
Ivana, Ivana, I vant it all...

It looks like new numbers are setting all-time records, for the disUnited States.
The death toll for California wild-fires is over 50, missing is over 300,
and the property damages are by far the worst in all of American history,
and the fires are still raging, still spreading, with the same winds predicted for four more days.

However, the overall average for the number of States and undeclared States is about the same.
Obviously, Puerto Rico has lost status, declared a beyond reparation debtor, owing over 70 billion,
to the United States of America, according to President Donald Trump.
Ontario, here in Canada, is picking up the slack.
The provincial government has decided to lower the electric bills for residential and business,
by saying, hey, it's like a mortgage, borrowing money on hydro assets, including future billing.
This means interest payments of 30 billion dollars to a New York based financial institution.
The province has also sold a 51% interest in Ontario Hydro to "the public",
even if no-one knows what Ontario public people, or Americans, have paid to own it.

But what is causing the most conversation, missing the stores and products,
is the loss of Sears, one of Canada's oldest and most admired retailers.
A new American board executive sent over 600 million dollars into the states,
last year, saying he had to pay American stock-holders, instead of investing in stores.
Canadian executives are saying everything was being pulled out from underneath them,
to cause the stores to go under.
When I was 16, friends paying me to not cut their hair as much as barber shops did,
my parents got me a barber clipper kit, Kenmore, from Sears, that I'm still using.
I still have the original box, instructions and more than half of the tube of oil.
I'm using the Weller soldering gun my father got as a wedding present, in 1949.

Life is what you make it, but it's better when the items of your lives are built to last,
and the jobs to manufacture, and repair them, are local for you.

It looks like New Zealand is coming back on top of newsworthy scores,
this newest one being their election of the youngest Prime Minister in 150 years.
She is also a very good looking woman.

The Premier of Ontario, said to have the lowest polling scores of all party leaders,
is also being criticized for putting herself up front and center for new political advertising.
The Auditor General of Ontario is also criticizing her for her governments' treatment of Ontario Hydro.
The Premiers' election manager had all charges dropped, a judge deciding it wasn't worth the trial,
when the R.C.M.P. and Crown Attorneys' office were proceeding to prosecute.
A judge deciding a trial isn't necessary is also a first under the Elections Act of Ontario.
