Danish and finnish progrock bands?

I know about a lot of norwegian and swedish progrockbands, but my knowledge about danish and finnish bands, and icelandic for that's sake, is not especially good.

Can anyone recommend any good bands from these countries?

I think you should check out Kingston Wall if you havent heard it before. It was psychedelic/progressive rock group from Finland. Check wikipedia for more information.

I recommend Nightwish if you like prog metal lite. Gjallarhorn is excellent prog folk. Wigwam has a good reputation in prog fusion, but they are not my cup of tea.

Sigur Ros is one of the best post rock bands around.

I hear Beyond Twilight is a great prog metal band, don't know them myself.

- HIDRIA SPACEFOLK
- HÖYRY-KONE
- ALAMAAILMAN VASARAT
- HAIKARA
- WIGWAM
- KINGSTON WALL

Danish:

- MEW
- SECRET OYSTER
(I only know these two)

Icelandic:

- SIGUR RÓS
(can't recall any other at the moment).

Progger58 is right in his recommendations of Hoyry-Kone and their follow-up Alamaailman Vasarat, and also for Sigur Ros.
