Ok, Well.. This has gotta be the second worst topic this Debate! I am clueless as to what to write and would love some tips, I'm on the Negative team, and the only points I've got are... Oh yeah, I dont have anything. :grin:
I would SOOO Appreciate tips and pointers!
I thought we were Aff. team, but nooooo.. Anyway.

Hey there MJSCL8,

:S Sorry for a very late reply, and you've already probably debated. Lol, I was on the negative side myself for ours and our main points were:

- Banning cars from the CBD will destroy our CDB. Because all business is in the CBD, no cars means no business.
- Public Transport is unrealiable and uncomfortable
- Public Transport is filthy and not all people can travel PT. Eg: The elderly, disabled people.
- We'll never be able to ban cars from the CBD because what is a private car anyway? What if a private car was a business car? Would that be allowed? Too hard to define.

Well yeah those were our arguments. But what won our debate was our rebuts. Hope it went well for you!
