    Albert Renaud Toccata

Hello, my name is Severin, and I was wondering if anyone here might be able to help me find the the full version of Albert Renaud Toccata in D minor, and of course on the pipe organ all i have found are recordings of string instruments. I thank anyone who can help me find it.

Do You need a recording or the sheet music? I have recorded this piece some years ago with some other lesser known pieces. I also have the sheet music (published by UMP = United Music Publishers Ltd), which I ordered from Bodensee Musikversand at http://www.bodensee-musikversand.de/

I've posted a recording of the Renaud Toccata for you, but please delete the track after listening to it:

    Albert Renaud toccata

Hello - I've been trying to find anything about my grandfather, Albert Renaud. He died before my parents even met and I have no info on him at all. I don't even know if he's this composer, but I'm a natural at music and so are many members of my family. I wonder if anyone has a picture of him or a way to get more information on him. If so, please e-mail me, and post a thread.
Oh - and I do enjoy the pipe organ. I had a friend who used to build and maintain them. I had the privilege of helping him tune the one in my church.
Thanks for your time and input.

Nice piece. Has anyone on the forum played it? Is it of comparable difficulty to the Toccata from Suite Gothique? The recording link above is quite "wet", so I couldn't pick out everything that was going on, but it sounded like there were the typical toccata technique of lots of repeated patterns of semi-quaver which lie reasonably OK under the fingers.

The performance above wascertainly being played at a pretty impressive pace!
