Software for film scoring

Hello all!

I would like to try scoring some videos-films, but i don´t know about software to start. Something to syncronize, or to play over the film...
Any help?

Something like Steinberg's Nuendo (http://www.steinberg.net/26_1.html), for PC, or Final Cut Studio (http://www.apple.com/finalcutstudio/) for Mac perhaps?

You could also use Steinberg's Cubase SX which also has video-editing support.
