hmm, ok, decisions ... decisions ...
If I follow Giovanni's post, it is K: Aran Katchaturian
However if we have to revert back to C: Francois Couperin

I am at the mercy here of both Gio and Acc ... so not wanting to offend or insult either person's prior posts, I post both and let everyone else decide ...

Either case, it will be an "N" to the next victim ... errr ... poster ...

    Krummhorn,

Thou hast nothing to fear from me. This composer game is fun and where there is lots of learning to be had. Please consider me as a colleague, for that is the way I consider you. There are people on this forum who know way more than I do and I am not ashamed to admit it. Lets continue with the fun unabated, ok?

Two composers ending with the same letter: neat way of getting back on track, Krummhorn! Besides, there is no reason to fear my wrath, because (a) I'm actually quite fond of Katchaturian , and (b) you've got it wrong with Couperin anyway, 'cause you were supposed to start with an "I" .

Cudos to Giovanni, too, for starting with an "I" and still finishing with an "N". Nice to see so much convergence and harmony in this forum!

    OK, next: Serge Nigg.

I don't know about you guys, but I ran out of composers about 4 pages ago.

I'll just keep nabbing the easy ones: Edvard Grieg

    Hey HotParry

Grieg has been spoken for already - I invite you to put on your thinking cap - I donned mine yesterday

arrrgghhh ... the letter "n" has beat me to a pulp ... I plead the 5th
Better yet, think I'll have the 5th instead
I too have run out of names ...

Giovanni and Acc ... a tip of my organ shoes to you both for your kind responses ... it's nice to have the special rapport amongst a diverse group of musicians as we have here on this forum.

I must admit, I`m starting to run dry as well. I`m not really up on many of the more obscure composers...

I was wondering, what say we start a new game where anything goes- look composers names up in books or on the net. Alphabetical, or last letter becoming the first, whichever. But one has to say something enlightening about the composer posted. That way, we would at least be learning something.

Would anyone be interested? What do you all think? Or if anyone else has any game ideas, feel free to start a new thread; I`ll certainly play!

    Oh yeah- Yoshinao Nakada

    Hi Lars,

It is a real honor to get acquainted with people like yourself and all the other gracious and friendly people on ths forum. If I may humbly venture a reason as to why it is so is because there is a willingness to help the other. Yes, sometimes it may take a bit of time before an answer to a question is proffered but I have always had some interesting answers to questions that I have wondered about.

    Cheers,

    Giovanni
