Maybe we can accept a movie composer in such hard cases: David Newman (e.g. Anastasia, The Ice Age).
At loss for the next one?
HINT: what's the country of origin of many North-Americans of European descent?
Dear Ms. RoJo,
Thanks for your empathy - thou art a blessed presence on MIMF![]()
Gee, this game has gotten pretty hard as of late - yes, I love a challenge but now I must admit that I'm at a loss for American composers whose last names begin with *N*.
Cheers,
Giovanni

Hi Giovanni,
I'm am out of "N" names too, and I live there (here - wherever) ... I see this compounding once we get into the "B" country. Perhaps we should permit use of the internet as a last resort, and when we do, indicate the source. Just an idea to help keep up the interest here and keep the thread going.
BTW, we didn't determine what country comes next - lots of choices in the letter B. Maybe whomever comes up with a name for the letter "Z" gets to name the "B" country, etc etc. Anybody else feel free to chime in here.![]()
In the meantime, I suggest that we accept Naiomie's "N" entry and push on to "O"

Fair enough on all counts, although I thought acc`s suggestion was acceptable as well.
So, on to O. Ermm...
Think I`ll have to look it up, if no one jumps in with a name here...
Btw, nice to have a new player in the game; hi naiomie!
