Ivar has used some vaired styles and forms of expressions, rhythms in his choral compositions. He also teaches piano, and is an organist/choirmaster, as well as a singer.

Admiral Magle? Corno? Giovanni? Gareth? Priest? Mr. Dressler? Help, we've hit a :banghead: :crazy:

A friend of mine has a CD of him on the Naxos label.

Jacob Gade

Love playing his famous 'Jalousie'. Here`s a quote from wikipedia about him-

(1879 - 1963) was a Danish violinist and composer, mostly of orchestral popular music. Today he is remembered for a single tune, the familiar "Tango Jalousie", premiered in September 1925. The tango was an instant international hit, was featured in over 100 films, and the royalties allowed Gade to devote himself to composition fulltime for the rest of his life. The royalties now fund a foundation for young musicians.

I think I know why no one has posted the 'L' composer before I did... ;)

Rojo ... hmmm ... well, in my case, I couldn't recall nor find any Danish composer for the letter "L" - Well, out of respect and loyalty I've got to list the obvious "M" one for this forum, right?

As for 'N', I think we have to go with Carl Nielsen. Well, we don`t have to, but...

Hold the phone; I couldn`t find any Q`s (do they have that letter in their alphabet?) But there are plenty of P`s. Here`s one-

Welcome, rojo :cool: - and thanks for the "R" entry

I googled the Danish alphabet - actually there are 29 letters (9 vowels and 20 consonants) including the letter "Q" .

As for a Danish composer starting with "U" perhaps our Danish counterparts can chime in ... this Dane is stumped :cry: :crazy:
