Hey there sparky. I personally use the silent ringtone that's going around at the moment. You know the one that rings at these really low frequencies and only people under the age of 22 can hear?
Well it was a blast in a debating meeting one time where my phone went off (it was ok for it was an after school hours meeting, with an awesome teacher by the way) and the girls heared it, but the teacher continued to ramble on without break. Haha, even with it up to her ear she couldn't hear it. Well obviously... But it's a cool ringtone to get for some fun

I'm new to these ringtones ... my 8 year old cell finally crapped and all it had was a couple monophonic tunes which were quite irritating. The new phone has polyphonic ones: "Up Town Girl" for incoming calls from my girlfriend, and Pachelbel's "Canon in D" for my Son.

Lucky you! I'm 24 years old and I hear it too. I think I hear it more than my younger brothers do.

Anyway, I use several ringtones (one for each group in my phonebook). I use the standard *ring* *ring* for those not in my phonebook. For my family I use Fur Elise. I use a certain pop song (I wouldn’t disclose because it’s embarrassing) for my friends. I use the Norah Jones’ ‘Thinking About You” for my special someone. It’s cheesy.

Haven't got a ring tone yet, so what does that say about me? I'm 76 so wouldn't be able to hear it anyway ! Nessum Dorma tells me that you can't get a lot of sleep, Sparky. I enjoyed Tim's concert last Saturday, it was really wonderful. Hope it raised a lot for the church roof, it needed to as Tim managed to "raise the roof" on Saturday.

This whole ring tone thing got me thinking maybe I'd put the silent one on my phone as a joke since I can still hear it. . .I went to a site and before downloading it I listened again. I just have to ask those younger people who also hear it--doesn't that sound annoy you? It actually hurts my ears, so I decided not to use it. Is this just me or what?

For my ringtone i downloaded some of my mp3's onto my cell phone. Sure it may not be as popular as the update to ringtones but i sure do love it. Wow, the ultra sonic ringtones sure does sound cool, the ones like in the movie "The Messengers"? I would love to have one of those, especially since i am in college with all these old lecturers.
