    Carmina Burana

I'm sure that most posters here are familiar with the Carl Orff version, but I wonder if anyone can point me in the direction of a CD of the ancient musical setting. I've been told that there was one around in the 1990s, but for all my use of Google and Amazon (in three countries) I can't trace one.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I thought I remembered that there was a Naxos version, which made searching easier.

    Many, many thanks, Art Rock.

Doesn't seem to be available from amazon.uk, so it's now winging it's way to me from the US site.

What is Carmina Burrana about anyway?
I saw a video on the ARts channel and it made no sense to me.

That makes sense, thanks for explaining. This music was used in the JackA** movie in the beginning. Funny! But seems I've heard this music in other places too.
