How's Your Weather?

Same old same old, huh intet?

Here you never know what you're gonna get. The last couple of nights it's been quite cold (-15 Celsius or so,) but I took a minute or two to admire the lunar eclipse last night, and tonight a bright and beautiful full moon. Always impressive.

As you know from other posts from me often joking, I don´t realy care much whether it´s rain or not. It´s all a matter of wearing the right kind of clothes - to me personally. Walking in the light quiet rain for instance with your loved one can be awesomely romantic.

The Golf Stream passing the Atlantic going east way up brings warm air to Denmark through November to March, which leaves Denmark snowless around Christmas 12 out of 13 years in a row. Though our neighbours to the north both in Sweden and Norway they have lots of the white powder from above, designed for skiing. The very reason The World Cup in Down Hill could never take place in Denmark, not to mention we don´t have any mountains. Like with Holland the entire country has the shape of a horisontal pancake.

Having said that more people during the Danish winter turn to suicide or increased medication, and it is a scientific fact people from southern Europe smile more this time of year.

We have had a soaking wet storm during the night still above my apartment with heavy winds and lots of the water from above from the resovoirs of the heavens.

How much more rain can there actually be???

Someone around here did not behave him/herself as supposed to. Of course one among the neighbours, mind you . It´s like it has not moved one bit to either side since last night. I could hear the roof on my house moving all night long, like playing with whiskers on the snare drum.

So I won´t either be able to return anything weatherwise good to you dear friend. Are you still on leave training with your "bisquit"

Btw. Great the three of us found "Whisper Not" almost at the same time.

I tell you Mat there´s something strange about this Oceanian guy Dorno Colce, I believe he has magical skills. I had a dream about him last night, well early in the morning, not frightening, but strange. Tell me Mat can a man carry a 60 feet high pipe organ on his shoulders???

Exactly that kind of magic, but somehow for him natural. If he one day invited me to fly with him to the moon, I would not even be surpriced, just make sure we agree on the fee before leaving.

The storm is still here. It broke my clothes-dryer on the south side of my mansion yesterday afternoon with clothes, poles and line and sent it to the neighbour´s house half a mile away not touching the ground once, like the US Masters in golf - hole in one, like had it been a piece of paper. Someone around here should realy feel ashamed.

I saw a bike and someones briefcase and an umbrella passing me above this morning. Perhaps we have reached the apocalypse? Of course if my roof disapears, I´ll have free skyview.

I'm so sick of ice that I even drink my soft drinks without ice. I'm afraid
to go anywhere when ice gets on everything. I didn't know wether to
wear my usual sock bogin or a hard hat! We are waiting for some more
winter weather.

It's springtime out here . The temperature is reaching neraly 20°C. It doesn't matter that in February temperature should go below zero and there should be lots of snow. I guess someone up there decided the winter is now over. We have a dry, sunny day and, quoting Gershwin, "no, they can't take that away from me".

It's springtime over here , to quote Mat from Poland.

What a morning of pure sunshine and a blue sky with some thin white clouds to the south after days, weeks and two months on end of rain, rain and then rain and a storm from friday to sunday, which never seemed to leave this area, where I live in the northern of Jutland, Denmark.

We thank you Lord for remembering that even small democratic countries need sunshine once in a while after a January and a February 2008 soaked 95% of any day.

Now we only miss for the temperature to go up, up and then up from the usual 7C degrees.
