Some rain coming up in the forecast for later this week, but today was lovely & sunny. It's been this way for days now. February, which is usually quite brutal, was one of the easiest I've experienced. Fine by me.![]()

We've had rain the last two days, which is fine by me and my allergies. Here in the high desert, we can use all the rain we can get - helps our water table since most of our consumable water comes from underground wells.

After several days of wonderful rain, we have the stupidsunshine back again. The thermometer is inching towards 60°F as I write this. More rain (thank goodness) is in the forecast for later in the weekend and next week.

Doesn't seem like there's been much weather for the last month!!
It is warming up a bit here at last, I can tell the season is later this year though, last year rose buds were just starting to show colur, I'd say this year they are about 10 -14 days later. The first was in bloom about April 22 last year, the day Google street view cameras were round here, I usually photograph the first few blooms as they appear, which is how I can date the google "visit"
Cheers MIKE.

Today is oyster gray sky day, windy, and cold with temps at 7C. Not really my cup of tea after living 17 years in Hawai'i........
Another sunny day, spent about half hour pottering round the garden (I do a good potter now, just the right age for it!) discouraged a few weeds. I'm surprised there are not, as yet, any aphids on the roses (touch wood) so maybe the cold weather did some good!
Cheers MIKE.

beautiful yesterday, miserable today (in other words normal for this time of year)
Has anyone seen this volcanic dust yet?
