How's Your Weather?

Wow, Mat ... you are the first report of snow for this season ... lucky people that get that white fluffy stuff. We are still in the middle 80's (F) here in Arizona ... they are forecasting mid to low 70's next week, but that is always a crapshoot ... two out of every three times the weather men are wrong here ... dead wrong.

I just got here in Phoenix (more specifically Chandler) on the 4th, The weather here is amazing. I have noticed the weather men are wrong alot, When there is a 10% chance of rain they show rain for the whole day!? That is such a small percentage. It is also crazy how laid back the news people are here, in Michigan they were uptight as hell, here they are always messing around.

I think If I can make it through the summer, the fall/winter are definatley worth it.

Welcome to Arizona ... sometimes we call it "Aridzona" . Your first summer here will be miserable, but after your blood thins out, you will adjust. Can't beat the fall/winter weather though. I came here from Washington state - that was quite an adjustment for me.

Chandler is a great community, a little more laid back than the main city of Phoenix, but I still get white knuckles everytime I have drive the freeways up there - it's much calmer in Tucson, although I-10 is all torn up here until 2010 as it is widened.

I wished I was in Pheonix guys. It's cold here. I don't know what the
temps are but the wind is blowing and it feels icy cold. I know how
Pheonix is this time of year. Nice! It is supposed to freeze tonight
and what rain that fell yesturday will be a puddle of ice instead of rain
water. Right now I have to wear two sweaters; a long sleeve and short
sleeve, pair of thick socks, knitted cap, two mufflers and lots of chap
stick on my lips and face. It's cold! It's too bad we can't bottle up
some of that 105 degree weather and save it for this time of year.
Brrr! But, that's kentucky for you. Last year it got so cold that our
pipes froze and busted in places. It was a mess. Tomorrow will be
the second anniversery of the tornado that hit my town. I'm glad
we are not under an advisery now waiting for a storm to hit.

How's my weather? Here in Kentucky I can say crazy.Yesturday it
was so cold I had to dress up like an escamo. Sorry I can't spell!
Today it's a balmy seventy degrees and probably tomorrow will be
another cold one! It's hard to adjust to this kind of weather.

Our weather is driving us nuts. Two days ago we had to go hunting for electric blankets and winter clothing, yesterday it was 44°C (in the shade). Our electricity supplier decided to activate load shedding in the middel of the day, so no aircon, when the temperatorue in the shop reached 48°C I decided to close. Today the temperature was in the 40s again, with heavy rain with the result that we had condensation problems on some equipment due to the humidity and now they forecast a cold front for the weekend.

Kentucky's weather is still crazy. The last time I sent an email about
the weather four days ago with temperatures at 60 to 70 degrees up
until last night when the temperatures began to fall. All day the news-
casters mentioned snow today in the form of flurries. Yesterday it
was 74 degrees and stormy. It rained all day. I miss the 105 degree
summer we were having three months ago. I know it was dangeriously
hot last summer but it sure beats the pants off freezing your kuester
off on your way to your neighbor's business place. I'm almost the only
resident in my neighborhood. Everyone else is a business like either a
bank, newspaper, and the railroad by CSX.

Well here in Milton Keynes Uk today it is dull with a slight breeze. I don't know what temperature it was yesterday, but when I went out I met some brass monkeys looking for a welder. We get the odd bit of frost in the morning, but it does go off in a while. I am hoping for not too cold a winter and look forward to spring with all the lovely blossom and pretty flowers

Since you live in England and I'm over here in the US in Kentucky,
I can say A-man Brother! I agree. Kentucky is a lot like England.
For the last two days we finally got two nice days out of November.

It's quite pleasant in London today – there's cloud, but it's high and broken, so blue sky is visible over the capital.

I'm more concerned about the weather forecast for Paris though, since I'll be there in less than 24 hours.
