    Hello from San Diego, California

    Hi everybody,
I am Eugene from San Diego, California, US
I am happy to find this forum. My main instrument is Japanese flute Shakuhachi, also I am playing Native American flute, didjeridoo, Xaphoon, Dan Moi and electronic keyboard. I am planning to learn Armenian Duduk.

    Good day to you all!
    Eugene

    Welcome Eugene!

Those are indeed some very interesting instruments you play! What made you chose them? And which music do you perform? I hope you will have a great time here and look forward to see you around.

    Kind regards,
    Frederik

    Hi Frederik,
    Thanks for replying.
I like meditation music or anything for relaxation, and the portability of the instrument itself. I found the sound of shakuhachi music the best for that purpose, and the size is very convenient
I am studying playing mostly solo, and I am trying to record a combination with other instrumetns.
This is my yesterday's solo improvisation

    Greetings, Eugene

Welcome aboard Magle International Music Forums. A very fascinating group of instruments ... heard the didjeridoo played in some concerts here in Arizona, once with a percussion group playing native instruments.

One of my most favorite spots in San Diego is Balboa Park - the Spreckels Organ in particular ... worth seeing if you haven't been there.

Looking forward to learning more about your instruments.

I like that park. There is also a Japanese Garden next to that Organ. I like going there...

    Hi there Komuso

I actually played a didgeridoo at one point. Or at least I tried to...
