A Brief History of Time

I watched this movie last night and was very impressed. I have been back and forth in my mind about watching it because, quite frankly, mathmatics and quantum physics make my eyes cross and my head hurt. What I found was a movie that was part biography of Stephen Hawking, part exploration of his theories, and part a look at the inside workings af academia. The movie combined interviews with Stephen Hawking, his mother and sister, and friends and fellow scientists with old photos and computer generated animations. The score by Philip Glass was excellent - it provided a sense of motion and time without ever distracting from the "action." I am so glad that I finally got around to seeing this film, and would recommend it highly.
