Yes, if I had money and more importantly space.![]()
Am I to understand that it's the fittings, furnishings and organ being sold and not the actual building? That seems very unusual, I've not come across anything like that before. It would be interesting to know more about the instrument. It looks to be a decent size and I can certainly think of a few churches down here that would benefit from a good condition Harrison instrument - and I'm sure they could afford it! Only wish I could.

Its really Big, I can get measurements for you. The Building has been bought and is being turned into Apartments, so its got to go, such a shame, I really do hope to find it a new home.
Were I of the wealthy, I'd be buying first and then looking for somewhere to put it. - I can immediately think of several places that would benefit greatly!
About 30 years ago I had a neighbor who bought an old pipe organ and was rebuilding it in his one room, basement apartment (flat). Needless to say, he got evicted the first time he tried it out.
That would be nice for a church looking for an organ. I'm not up on currency exchange rates, but I can tell it is too rich for my blood. (Not to mention shipping to the US.)
Gary,
I think your acquaintance, the organ-playing tenant in a basement, would have been an ideal character in the movie "Close Encounter of a Third Kind"!
A very funny anecdote![]()

Can you post the stoplist and how many ranks the organ is comrised of?
Wonder what happened to the congregation that occupied this beautiful church.

What a nice Harrison instrument! I second Krummhorn's request to see a spec. list of this instrument.

I started a discussion on Mander's forum, and someone kindly gave me a link to the spec list:

Acc,
Thanx for the spec. list - redolent with glorious foundations.

Thank You all for the discussion, Best Wishes
What a curious spec. No mutations, no pedal reed and no Ch to GtCertainly a good church instrument though. Hmm ... might put out some feelers around here and see what bites.
