After Toccata and Fugue in D Minor

    Hey guys.
I recently finished learning Bach's famous Toccata and Fugue in D minor, and i was wondering what other pieces are out there of around the same level of difficulty, as i dont want to start on something much harder, as i've only been learning a keyboard instrument for 3 yrs (1.5 on piano, 1.5 on organ)

Im currently looking at BWV 538 (Dorian Toccata and Fugue) and BWV 549 (Prelude and Fugue in C Minor)... i'm probably looking to learn another bach or someone similar, like Krebs or something...

PS: if u cud direct me to where i could find the scores for these pieces, it would be much appreciated

    Smile Good for you!

I love that piece (as all organists do). I've got a suggestion thats not too hard; assuming you like pedal. Prelude, Fugue and chaconne by Dieterich Buxtehude isn't terribly difficult, and I'm learning it right now. Its a beautiful baroque piece so you should check it out!!

I found this piece in Organ Classics 18 Works by Bach, Franck etc. edited by Rollin Smith.

Try the "Cathedral" prelude and fugue of Bach ... same sort of difficulties
